As many around us celebrate the festival of lights (Diwali), we remember that the Israelites also had a festival of light – the Feast of Tabernacles. It was during this festival that Jesus stood up and said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” We’ll see that Jesus is the light for all nations.
