Life Course

Join us on Thursday evenings, from the 25th of July, as we explore the basics of the Christian faith and think more about what Jesus has to say about life.

Thursday 25th July • What is life to the full? • What is the good life? What is the meaning of life? What is the source of happiness? Is life futile?

Thursday 1st August • Can I really trust the Bible? • What claims does the Bible make? Does it hold up to scrutiny?

Thursday 8th August • Whats wrong with the world? • What’s sin? • Why does God care? • How has it impacted our relationship with God, others and the world?

Thursday 15th August • Why did Jesus have to die? • How do we balance love and justice? What is the meaning of the cross?

Thursday 22nd August • What does it mean that Jesus rose again? What happens after this life? • What really is life to the full?

What to expect:

This is a casual, informative and even fun way to explore the basics of Christianity. You won't need to say anything, but you're also most welcome to share what you honestly thing - we make no assumptions about where people are at in their spiritual journey or scepticism.

The night starts with dinner, we'll show a short video as an icebreaker. We love stories and various guests from church will come in each week to share their story of faith. Mike (lead pastor) will then share a short talk (10min) from the Bible on the topic of the night. Dessert, followed by Q&A. The night finishes at 9pm.
