Highschoolers are well catered for at Toongabbie Anglican. As kids grow into adults, we seek to nurture them through safe and fun programs and relationships.
Our teens look forward to this all year! An opportunity for growing friendships, having fun, and delving deeper into what the Bible has to say for our lives. This usually runs in the spring school holidays.
During our Sunday morning services (8:45 and 10:45) we invite kids in Grades 6-9 to hang out in the ‘Garage’- a sunlit and visible space to spend time reading the Bible and working through what it means for their lives.

We encourage older teens (Grades 10-12) to join the adults for Church services. Some volunteer in our kids programmes as well. Every second Sunday afternoon during school term, you are invited for Bible study from 4:30-6:00 (before the evening service).

Friday Nights

Friday nights are fun! Come and spend time with other teens as we hang out, play games, sing, and hear a talk from the Bible. We provide a safe space to get away from the pressures of everyday life and chat about the big issues that teens face. We especially focus on who Jesus is and what that means for us. We dig into the Bible to consider why this ancient collection of books has such relevance today. Once or twice a term we go off-site for an activity; this will always require informed parental permission. If you’re able, we ask for a $25/term fee to cover expenses. We also ask parents/ carers to fill in some details to help us keep you safe.
Safe Ministry
Toongabbie Anglican Church is committed to safe ministry training and practices. All leaders have the necessary Working with Children Check (WWCC). We take it very seriously to make sure this is a safe place for the kids of all ages.
