This website is designed to be used alongside the vision booklet. Please prayerfully read through it and consider how God might be using you for His kingdom.
We want to celebrate how we’ve seen God at work in us at the Celebration Dinner on Sunday 10th Nov (last week of vision month). Bring some food to share and be ready to sing, share and pray together.
This year’s Vision Month overlaps with our year of discernment. So as we seek to clarify our vision and discern where God is leading us, there are a couple of extra moments to help us in this:
Discernment Walk; either DIY or join Clive in Pendle Hill on Sunday 3rd November over lunch time (register via button below).
Discernment Workshop; after vision month it will be good for us draw together the things God has been putting on our hearts and explore the questions on p.14 of the vision booklet. This will be over lunch on Sunday 24th November.
More details on our discernment webpage:
Our vision booklet this year is called ‘God is at Work’. God is indeed at work! He’s working in us and through us, now and into the future. We hope you are encouraged by this year’s vision booklet.

We hope you’re encouraged as you read through the vision booklet. We’d love every member to pledge to the mission of TAC and complete a pledge form, either online or on paper (you’ll find a paper version at the back of the vision booklet). The form will ask you to pledge to:
Pray for the kingdom
Join a Growth Group
Use your gifts to serve
Be part of the discernment process
Financially partner with us (in addition to regular giving, there’s opportunity to support a Thanksgiving Project during Vision Month - click here to learn more)
The words ministry and minister come from the words for serving and servant. Ministry is just ordinary people caring for other ordinary people as we serve and encounter the extraordinary God together.
At TAC, our aim is to empower you to use your God-given gifts to serve others, both in our church and the broader community. You can pledge to serve using the online pledge form or the form in the back of the vision booklet. You might want to take time first to complete the Spiritual Gifts Questionnaire. This assessment will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. It has 5 components: Spiritual Gifts, Heart (Passions), Abilities, Personality, and Experience. Please give yourself sufficient time to complete the test.
Jesus has shown us the most extraordinary generosity - he gave his life so that we might be forgiven and have eternal life. We have the absolute privilege of being stewards of what God has entrusted us for his purposes.
Our church is funded entirely by the giving of those who attend. During Vision Month, we ask and invite people to indicate their level of giving for the coming year. This helps you to regularly rethink and pray about your giving as circumstances change. It also helps the church leadership plan wisely for the year ahead.
In order to pledge your giving, you can either fill in the pledge form in the back of the vision booklet and pop it in a giving box at church or complete the form online. Your pledges to give are completely confidential and only seen by our accounts manager.

The Sanctuary supports women and children who are homeless or leaving domestic violence by providing short-term crisis accommodation and support. This is not a Christian organisation, but we feel it presents a significant opportunity for us to practically love those in our community in need.
