7 | Walking with Jesus: in new life | Luke 24:13-35 | Easter Service
Cleopas and his friend were unsure about whether Jesus was Lord. Jesus healed the sick, taught about God and even stopped storms with one word. But they saw him die. They had put all their hope in Jesus and so doubted. But Jesus proved that he was Lord even over death. As we celebrate today we remember that Jesus rose from the grave and showed us that He is God’s promised King.
