Life Course
Our Life Course runs on Thursday evenings and is an opportunity to explore the basics of the Christian faith and think more about what Jesus has to say about life. We have recently finished a course, but get in touch below and we can send your details about the next course!
What is life to the full? • What is the good life? What is the meaning of life? What is the source of happiness? Is life futile?
Can I really trust the Bible? • What claims does the Bible make? Does it hold up to scrutiny?
What’s wrong with the world? • What’s sin? • Why does God care? • How has it impacted our relationship with God, others and the world?
Why did Jesus have to die? • How do we balance love and justice? What is the meaning of the cross?
What does it mean that Jesus rose again? What happens after this life? • What really is life to the full?
What to expect:
This is a casual, informative and even fun way to explore the basics of Christianity. You won't need to say anything, but you're also most welcome to share what you honestly think - we make no assumptions about where people are at in their spiritual journey or scepticism.
The night starts at 7pm with dinner and we'll show a short video as an icebreaker. We love stories and various guests from church will come in each week to share their story of faith. Mike (our Lead Pastor) will then share a short talk (10min) from the Bible on the topic of the night. There’ll be dessert, followed by Q&A. The night finishes at 9pm.
