This week, we come to chapter 13 of Romans and the question of how Christians ought to live under the authority of the state. In Paul’s day, Christians lived under one of the most oppressive and hostile empires in history, and yet we see him call for the church to live in submission to the governing authorities. In our sermon, we will think about what that call looks like for Christians today.
